Working Title: ‘Through Our Eyes’

Materials: String, Video, tapes, video camera, newspaper, notebook, sketchbook, computer.

Elements: Space, Body, Time

Embodied Themes: Transience, Constant, Continuum, Gap, Inner to Outer

Space: Pathway, Internal/External

Body: Falling body, Effect of light and sound, Effect of vision/focus on movement.

Time: 1 hour, 0.001s – 15.00

Movement Stimulus: The moment you decide to jump or to let go, Being tripped up. Imagery: Journey colour, speed. Mapping a journey, what do you see? Internal imagery: organs; colour shape, texture.

Movement Concepts: Unravelling, How to create a ‘space hold’. How to freeze time.

Movement Tasks: Repetition, beginning to set a phrase of movement. A tumbling phrase, in and out of the floor. Create a phrase with high extensions/off balance. Follow an impulse till it reaches it’s perceived end by yourself and and/or another.
