Working backwards from her role in 2020 choreography by Laborgras-Das Fest, Rosalind will unpick and articulate the core of her movement practice from over the last ten years, influenced by working with Laborgras and informed by her own development of inter-species awareness practices. She will revisit and document the exercises which she has been mainly busy with as a training methodology, but which influence her particular choreographic style.What is the nature and relevance of an approach to contemporary dance training, documented in this research and defined by a specific community of artists today? What is the content and context for this methodology and how can it be documented and presented to further a discourse around contemporary dance practice? How does this methodology relate to her choreographic practice?
